Severn AND CAP - New Debt centre

We are thrilled to be working in partnership with the brilliant charity
“Christians Against Poverty” as part of our vision to bring renewal to the City of Bristol
through a new CAP Debt Centre for South Bristol.

CAP Debt Centres are there for those feeling weighed down by debt. You may think your situation is impossible, but there is hope. Our friendly team will give you a listening ear in the privacy of your own home and provide a real solution to your debts. We can help you to work out a realistic budget and can negotiate affordable payments with your creditors. We’ll set up a CAP plan for you and use that plan until you are debt free. This is all done for free!

Severn is delighted to be running the South Bristol CAP Debt Centre.  This is done in collaboration with many other South Bristol churches who support the Debt Centre, either through prayer, practical support or financial support. If you, either as an individual or as a representative of another church, would like to contribute to the work of the South Bristol Debt Centre, there are several ways you can do this:

Prayer Support

There are a few ways that you could support the work of the South Bristol CAP Debt Centre - as an individual, as a household or family, through your local church, smallgroups or community groups or through a CAP prayer group at Severn Vineyard.

Please contact Rebecca Kishtainy, CAP Debt Centre Manager, if you are interested in joining others to pray for the South Bristol CAP debt centre - you can email her through the button below.

Practical Support

If you have a heart to see people set free from poverty and see Jesus bring hope into hopelessness, then becoming a befriender might be just the thing for you! A befriender assists the Debt Coach manager by simply going into people’s homes, talking and praying with them. You will be asked to commit to three visits for each client.

Financial Support

If you would like to contribute financially to the South Bristol Debt Centre, it would be so appreciated - thank you so much for considering this.
