Worship at Severn

Every church gathering at Severn involves a time of worship.

For us, this means enjoying the presence of God whilst our bands lead us in music and in singing songs that are written by popular songwriters or by our bands themselves.

It doesn’t matter whether you are exploring faith or already count yourself a follower of Jesus, you will be able to join in as much or as little as you like, with lyrics projected onto our large screens.

Life has changed quickly and drastically during these Coronavirus times, but our God is the same forever, He is unchanging, faithful and worthy to be praised. One of our Worship Leaders has put together a Spotify playlist to help you draw close to Him at this time.

Additionally, our regular worship even Essence is back and is now online! We are planning new dates and will let you know the them as soon as we can! You can access Essence Online live on our FaceBook page or you can watch it in the days afterwards, again through our FaceBook page.

Our Worship Team is led by Joel and Juliet Glynn, our Worship Pastors.

Bands & Musicians at Severn

We have a number of different worship leaders and bands, each with their own individual expression and style. We believe this diversity is a true strength of our community and hope you enjoy the variety of worship that it creates.

Speak to Joel and Juliet Glynn, our Worship Pastors, or visit our Join a Team page to find out more.

Prayer & Worship Events

We have regular worship events called Essence and you’d be so welcome to come for an hour or stay for the whole evening!
These are times of worship with no agenda except to wait on God.

Severn Playlist

We would love to encourage you to have a listen to our playlist of songs which we are currently singing at Severn, either through the box below or our Severn Playlist.

These are songs that we are playing or looking to introduce soon on Sundays at Severn Vineyard

“There is an increasing expectation that we will meet with God in our musical and creative worship times at Severn, which is really exciting. We want to continue to seek God with expectation and in a way that is accessible, shows our passion for God, creates space for intimacy and is always done from a place of integrity.

Prophetic Art

We have a creative God so art is essential to our world. Artists are life-givers in culture. When painting prophetically, we have the unique opportunity, through the power of the Holy Spirit, to translate the Kingdom of Heaven into a visual language. This isn’t about words but a visual language that goes directly into the heart of the human spirit.
When we collaborate with the Holy Spirit in art, His light, power and life combine powerfully with our faith, imagination, creativity and skills. Our art carries the visual presence and awesome power of God so therefore, in our services, our paintings become prophetic.

Revelation 19:10 “The testimony of Jesus is the Spirit of Prophecy.”

I Corinthians 14:3 “But everyone who prophesies speaks to men for their strengthening, encouragement and comfort.

It is a real privilege to paint during the services and to see what the Holy Spirit brings to the artist through the paintbrush and out to people. Prophetic Art brings another way to worship. I love it when people are blessed by a painting that particularly speaks to them”
